Below, you’ll find our operating hours for spring, summer, and fall, ensuring you can plan your visit at the perfect time. Please note our winter closure dates and anticipate the day we reopen in spring, when the marine world wakes up once more. We can’t wait to welcome you throughout the year!

The Homarus Centre is closed to the public for the winter season, but remains available for group bookings. We look forward to welcoming you again when we reopen to the public in May 2027.

The Homarus Centre is located at 229 Main St, in the heart of Shediac, New Brunswick. We’re nestled right next to the famous Giant Lobster.

Yes, we offer ample free parking for our guests.

No, we currently do not offer any specific discounts for groups.

A typical visit lasts between 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your engagement with our exhibits and activities.

Absolutely! The Homarus Centre offers interactive exhibits and activities tailored for visitors of all ages, making it a perfect destination for families.

No, we do not have any food available for purchase at the Centre, however there are multiple restaurants and shops nearby.

Water and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed in the center except for around the touch tank, but food is not allowed in.

Yes, the entire center, including restrooms and interactive areas, is wheelchair accessible.

We offer guided tours at specific times throughout the day, but guests are free to roam in the guided area at their own pace if they prefer but only during the first 25 minutes of their visit. This time coincides with the guided tour portion of the experience, after this time, the guest can no longer join a guided tour because places are limited.

Only service animals are allowed inside the center.

Currently, we do not have any offering for event or birthday spaces, but we would be more then happy to help book a Large Group tour for you and your guest.

Photography for personal use is encouraged! However, tripods, drones, and flash photography are not permitted. For professional or commercial shoots, please contact our PR team for permissions.

Unfortunately, we do not. Guests are responsible for their belongings while in the Centre.
